About Me
My name is Tavion Butler, and I fell in love with the game of basketball at the age of five. Since then, I’ve dedicated myself to improving both on and off the court. I’ve won multiple AAU championships and had the opportunity to play varsity basketball as an 8th grader, where I earned Regional Player of the Year.
I take pride in my work ethic in the classroom and on the court. I compete on both ends of the floor, with a strong passion for defense. Offensively, I can get to the basket at will, have a reliable mid-range game, and can shoot from beyond the arc when needed. I also value team play—I consider myself a pass-first guard who enjoys getting my teammates involved and controlling the pace of the game.
My goal is to play at the Division I or Division II level and continue working toward earning a spot on an NBA roster. Until then, I will keep grinding, because I know that success doesn’t come without effort.
