About Me

Hello, my name is Elizabeth "Buffy" Goodwin.
I play travel ball for Firecrackers - Brashear as a Triple Threat Slapper/Utility. 

I am currently a Junior (2022 Grad Year) at softball powerhouse Paraclete Catholic High School (College Prepatory), located in Lancaster, California, where I am an outstanding AP/Honors student maintaining a 3.8 GPA.  

I am a Varsity Team Captain and starting catcher, albeit I can play any position, as well as being a speedy-triple-threat slapper that can hit for power. I can hit the ball hard or soft and I run fast!  As a fielder, I can play any position including pitcher. 

I was selected as First Team All-League as a Freshman and garnered Newcomer of the Year Award.  Unfortunately COVID caused my Sophomore season to be cut short and no awards were presented. 

Recently, I was notified that I won first place in the 2019 National Fastpitch Speed Combine Fireworks Sparkler in the Agility Shuttle Event, ranking as #1 of 164 participants.  Furthermore, I ranked as #4 of 164 in the Ball Speed Exit Velocity event.

My lifetime dream and goal is to play college softball. 

It is a lifelong dream of mine to play the game I love so dearly at the collegiate level and to earn a degree in which softball may assist me to attain.
