My name is Jarrett Segura, and I am in the class of 2023. Was the starting First Baseman for Bishop Alemany HS Varsity team as a freshman last
year. I have grown to about 6’3” and throw and bat right from the right side. I
believe in my heart that I was going to make a huge impact my freshman year
after finishing out the preseason with a hitting .400 , OBP .571, and slugging
of .800. Earned the Perfect Game 2019
PGBA 14U So Cal MLK All Tournament Team Selection with AVG: .571. I have played
with my Academy team, Total Baseball Vipers since I was 11 years old. Been
fortunate enough to play and train with legendary coach Tom Meusborn a former
USA Baseball Coach, and former Chatsworth HS Head Coach with National Titles
and City Titles. Currently still train and play for Coach Tom and his son Shawn
on the TB Vipers 17u team. Although due to current pandemic cutting our 2020
baseball season short, I sill look forward to my upcoming HS season. Alemany
plays in one of the most competitive leagues in the country, the Mission
League, with powerhouses like Notre Dame HS and Harvard Westlake HS. I look
forward to the end of this pandemic and a full year of HS baseball with my
current HS coach Steve Riggs. My biggest strength other than my height and
built, I believe is my IQ and passion for this game. My family values that have
been instilled in me have made me become a great baseball player but most of
all a great student.
