Dear whom it may concern,
I'm writing to wholeheartedly recommend Irelynd Barnes to be apart of your program. Having had the privilege to coach her over the past two years at Thompson Valley, I can attest to exceptional leadership, dedication, work ethic and character on and off the floor.
As a player Irelynd possesses some of the best defensive instincts I've ever seen. She will sacrifice her body, sprint to recover and play hard nose ball D on anyone you put in front of her.
Beyond her undeniable defensive attributes, she exhibits a level of dedication and work ethic you don't find in a lot of players her age especially academically. She will become a better shooter and ball handler because she will put the time in without being asked too. She approaches every practice, game, and training with a commitment to get 1% better and reach new heights every day.
In closing Irelynd is a person of amazing character, displaying character and humility in all her interactions. She is respectful to coaches and her teammates earning the admiration of her classmates and underclassmen leading them the right way.
