Hello my name is Orion Ketchum and I'm from a small city in Florida named Vero beach. I lived there for 6 years before my parents divorced and i moved in with my mom in the next city called fort pierce. i lived with my mom most of the time and visit my dad in verso every other weekend. my mom ended up moving in with a new guy she started dating and it was the worst 6 years of my life. i went to a charter school named somerset college preparatory academy i thought it was good at first but everything was so strict and the staff were all mean and weird.
I was scared going home many days because of the guy my mom decided to live with he was abusive towards me and would make fun of me every chance he could get and no one would see what he was doing was wrong until he kicked us out to live on a boat. While i was at the charter school i got into basketball i played on the team 7th grade and 8th grade. i knew basketball was my sport and i was out of shape at that time i was slow and had no stamina so i decided to do something about it i worked out every day to make a change and it payed off i got better faster more energy and i improved my game a lot in the progress. freshman year i transferred to fort pierce central high school.
they have a great program and there was alot of talent and people wanting to make the team i showed up to every conditioning and every workout to prove myself to make the team i made the freshman team but its not like i was bad but the level comp was good only freshman's made freshman team no freshman made jv or varsity we ended up having the best season in school history we went 12-0 blowing teams out by 30 and 40 almost every game. next year my sophomore season i worked hard over the summer i was at summer workouts getting better day by day i ended up making jv but i started and averaged 12 points a game and next year is the grind for varsity and how  much work i put on the court i have to put the same amount of work into school.
