My name is Savaughn Hartwell. I am currently in my junior year of high school and I'm in the middle of my basketball season and the start of the second semester is in session. I'm in love with the game of basketball and stick with my severe dedication to my grades in all classes, basketball, etc. I have huge aspirations to go to a college/university that fits me and where I am able to grow and learn as a player. I hope to play ball professionally in the future as well. I entertain all college mail, emails, etc. at the next level whether it's D1, D2, or D3.  Just really looking for an opportunity to receive a full ride scholarship and have a guaranteed spot on a roster and continue reaching goals on a bigger stage. I am a pretty laid back and chill type of person who gets along with anyone and is the last person you'd expect to cause trouble.

As for on the court, I cause havoc. I'm a pest on defense and I'm a dog. I use my speed and quickness to get to where I want and obtain the ability to then draw contact. In addition, I am an incredible acrobatic finisher at the rim.  I display great IQ with my shooting, passing, strength, speed, quickness and strong mental toughness. I can score at all three levels.

I stay poised on the court and play 110% and leave it all on the court. I keep my composure and stick with my tough mentality; always hungry for more. I have a 3.6 unweighted GPA and a 4.4 weighted GPA. I received a 1080 on my SAT and an 1120 on my PSAT. I'm always striving for the best and stay on top of my priorities. I'm a well-rounded individual who is a part of BETA Club, National Honors Society, and take part in volunteering and community service such as Clean The World and Second Harvest to help out the community and others around me. 

 If I were to make it to the next level, I'd do whatever the coach needs of me on the court. I will make the most out of it and  enjoy my college career and add different skills to my craft. Then I want to grow as a leader on and off the court and gain physical and mental toughness in tough decisions down the stretch.
