About Me

I've been playing basketball ever since I was three years old. Recalling the very moments of playing against my brother, uncle, cousins, and other family members was truly a proud moment that I will forever cherish. The game I love and play has had many lows and highs, but I still stay the course remain grounded.

I started playing basketball competitively at the age of nine years old. I played in various recreation leagues and church leagues until I played for my middle school team in the eighth grade. In high school I played JV in the 10th grade, and never got the chance to play varsity because of injuries and not making the team my 12th grade year. It was hard to come to terms with, but I don't let it bother me and I worked even harder, which led to a opportunity to take a post graduate year and play with Impact Basketball Academy. There I thrived and played well, improving my skill set, and gained my confidence and I feel that I'm ready to play at the college level.

As a player you can count on me to strive to be the best on and off the court. I take my education seriously and I know if basketball ends up not working out I know I still can be successful and be a productive citizen in today's society with education being the key. On the basketball court I try not to be a one dimensional player and be a effective all around player that can effect the game in many ways whether its: scoring, blocking shots, playing lock down defense, passing, rebounding, or taking charge. My stats can be anything, but as long as I do the necessary things to help my team win is my main purpose.

To conclude, I have learned so much along the journey on and off the court which leads me to continue to aim high to reach my potential. Even through the set backs I have faced on and off the court my passion and determination remains the same because its not about what you did in your past, but what do next that counts and I intend on doing great things. I will continue to stay motivated and focus so I can make my dream of playing college basketball come true.
