Top Achievements
- For track, I ran a 26.45 200 meter relay and ran a 11.83 100 meter relay, for football, I had a game with more than 4 tackles as a second string Linebacker. During Freshmen year of Baseball, I was hit with a lot of challenges, but i pulled through with being the only Freshmen on the Freshmen teams to hit a home run, which was an inside the park homerun.
About Me
My main goal for college is to succeed in Athletics and pursue a degree in Mechanics, or Engineering or Business. My main goal for an academic career is getting a scholarship to a school, or going to trade school to build the skills to be a mechanic. I have a grade point average of a 2.78/4.0. I am determined in both of these fields and I have increased my grades from Cs to Bs and As. For athletics, I keep in shape by going to the gym 5 times a week. Even with that, I have had to overcome some adversity. Last season, I injured my arm where I couldn't throw a ball, or keep my arm extended while holding my bat for an extended time. But through extensive physical therapy, and hard work, now I am back to perfect health. Also after receiving my second vaccination, I became ill but missed only one game, but no practices. My love of the sport kept me determined to make my way back. This hard work resulted in my being the only player in the Freshmen class to hit a home run. I've had multiple comments from different coaches about my defensive abilities, and hustle. I've also worked with former MLB catcher and AAA coach, Eric Munson who has complimented my pitch framing, and coachability. I believe in treating everybody with kindness, and respect, and I pick my teammates up and try to help them feel better about themselves if they are struggling. The successes that I have had make me love the game, and makes me determined for more. This is why I believe I would make a good addition to any program.
