I've been playing soccer for the past 12 years and I have always loved it, I feel like no one enjoys it as much as I do. My dad coached me most of my younger years and i used to referee kids games so I've been around the game a lot. I used to play forward when I was younger because I was fast and agile but my junior year I was put in the starting center back position for the first time and excelled at it, I even earned awards and was voted captain in only my junior year. I used my instincts a lot for my new position because I had not been technically trained there yet. I worked on my position during my club season and I feel I will be more impactful this year with my calm passing and better vision.
