About Me

My full name is Juan Jose Hernandez Jr. but my nickname is Nano. I was born on January 7th 2004 to a single mother. I have five brothers and only one sister. As I grew up, sports had a huge presence in my life as well as education, my family always stressed that education is the most important thing in my life and that I should always get good grades. The first sport that I ever played was American football for the youth Raiders, I played for three years as a wide receiver and backup quarterback. After that I tried out basketball but it just wasn't for me. A year later my older brother Diego decided to put me in soccer and I wasn't so sure because I knew only a little about soccer. Still I agreed because it would seem fun and mostly everyone in my family played soccer. So I tried out for a SCSA team called FC Premiera. To this day I still play for this club and I grew to love soccer  and everything I know is because of this club. As I entered highschool soccer, my passion for it grew even bigger and even through a major setback in soccer, I gained a drive to be the best on the team so I trained and trained and soon I found myself being able to surpass some players I thought I wouldn't be able to.
