About Me
Hi, my name is
Nathaniel Alexander Siders. I am 17 years old. I have been playing
baseball since I was 4. I love to play the game because its one
of the things I do that make me feel completely happy. I went to
Florida in January of 2016 for the Under Armour Baseball Factory
Camp. I was one of 120 kids in 35 states chosen to attend. This camp taught me a lot
about my baseball skills and myself. I feel like a more confident player and

I am helping coach a 16U team this Spring which has a few kids that are 13 years old. They are trying to adapt to the bigger field so it is really enjoyable seeing the looks on their faces when they make a good play on the big field. My favorite baseball player is Adrián Beltré. He is my favorite because he plays one of my favorite positions. I also like the fact that he volunteers a lot of his time to help different charities. My favorite positions are catcher, 3rd base, second base, and shortstop. Over my years of playing I have played every position on the field but the 4 positions are my favorite. I really like playing shortstop. I feel I have good range and a good arm for the position.
I love to help my aunt and grandparents around their house whenever I can. They are not able to do all the things that they need to get done. I also help anyone in my neighborhood that needs something done. It is very gratifying to me to be able to help people when they need it or just to volunteer to do things I see need done. The smile on their face makes it worth it.
My recent achievements on the field are being named captain of my team for the Catlettsburg baseball team, the summer ball team I played for in 2017.
I will be playing for the Catlettsburg 18U team this fall. I have been working on my fielding and batting skills and I look forward to getting better in the next year and helping the team the best I can.
I am taking advanced English along with Biology this year. My GPA is a 2.38 heading into my Junior year. I will be working hard this year to bring up this GPA up and keep improving it. My grade point average during the first 9 weeks of this year is 3.28. I am more focused than ever to get this GPA up.
