About Me

Hello- My name is Noah Gray; I am currently am a junior year and attend Frederick Douglass High School in Lexington, KY. I was born on July 03, 2002 in Georgetown, KY. I am currently 5’10" and 145 LBS. I am a right hand hitter and right hand pitcher. My primary position is pitcher and my secondary position Left Field, although I can play anywhere. In my own words plain and simple, I am a ball player I love the game of baseball. Since the age of four I have played the game. I respect the game and all the people I have played with. I have had the opportunity to learn the game from many great coaches. I know without them I wouldn't be the player that I am today. There is always more to learn. When I am not playing baseball or not in school I enjoy spending time with my family or friends. I also like to fish and watch a good game on Sports Center. School and baseball take up most of my time. I encourage and invite teammates to meet with me after school, during the season and the off season to practice. It is important to me that I continue to do well academically in high school and that I challenge myself academically. I try to lift during the week with some fellow teammates from my high school team in the off season. Over the winter months I do speed and agility training. My parents tell me to take it easy for at least a few days a week. My parents are very positive people they have always supported me in baseball that's one of the reasons I love playing so much. When it comes to college I would am thinking about majoring in Sports Marketing or athletic trainer. If baseball doesn't work out I would like to possibly get a job for ESPN or for a college or NFL/MLB team. As far as my most important accomplishments I have played travel baseball for the past four years. My freshman year I had to sit out because I was out of district so I played for the Babe Ruth league started every game at 3rd base at the varsity level. This past summer I played travel league with Noochie Varner NV Stars. In conclusion I want to attend a college where I can push myself in the classroom and on the field. I am open to all options and want to ultimately find the right college match at the highest level of competition possible. I would like to assure all of the college coaches interested in me that I'm a hard worker, reliable, honest, and I have a good sense of humor. I try to be a better student, baseball player and person every day. On the field I communicate clear and loudly and become a leader. Coaches usually tell me that I am very coachable and always open to listening to advice. Respectfully Submitted Noah Gray. "I envision my college years to be a personal growth period. On the field, I plan to be a dynamic player and positive influence on the team. As I grow both physically and mentally throughout my college baseball career, I will strive to be an asset to the pitching rotation, infield, outfield and batting lineup. Most importantly, I will conduct myself with honor and respect on and off the field, knowing that the way I carry myself reflects my team, my coaches and the school I attend."
