While I began my love of sports with basketball in third grade, I discovered what it meant to be truly passionate about a sport in seventh grade when I started playing volleyball. I began playing for my school's rec team, and while in retrospect what I was playing you could hardly call competitive volleyball, I found my passion. When encouraged by my school's coach to try out for a local club, I did. From there I learned what competitive volleyball truly was. After continuing at Frederick Volleyball Club for two years, I decided to up my game, and played for Metro Volleyball Club of DC my 15u year. This year I went another direction with a club whose coaches I love, and am playing at Maryland Exclusive Volleyball Club. Volleyball taught me the drive I was capable to make something happen. I have worked incredibly hard through injuries and other setbacks to become the player I am today. My passion for the sport of volleyball has shaped my life, and who I am today and I want to continue with my passion for as long as I am capable to which is why I want to play at a competitive college level.
