About Me

I've been playing baseball since I was old enough to throw a ball. I started Little League when I was 5 years old. When I was ten, my All-Star  team got to play for the chance at a state championship. We made it to the semi final game and ended up losing to the team that won it all. It was the coolest thing to go that far into the Little League state tournament. It only made my love for the game grow.
Baseball has always been about the team and community for me and my family. I was 12 when I first played travel ball, because I was invited to play on an elite baseball team. This team was made up of mainly kids from my school but only the best of the best. One of the things I liked the most about it was traveling with my friends and their families. The goal was always to make my team stronger and not about the single "all-star" player. Throughout that time our assistant or head coach  was also my high school Varsity coach. He has taught me so much about not just playing baseball but also becoming a man.
I'm looking for a college program that feels similar. Winning is important and I'm competitive but I also want to be a part of a team that picks each other up and has each other's back. I also want to go to a school that has good STEM programs because I'm interested in exercise science, physical therapy, sports medicine and majors like that or statistics and math.  I also like a community feel where people can keep me accountable. My faith and family are important and I want to make sure the culture of the college is a good fit with those things too.
I'd love to play D1 baseball at a school that is competitive in the NCAA and I'm willing to put in the work to get there. But I'm also young and know I have a lot of work ahead of me to get to that level. I'm young for my grade and have been told I have a big frame to fill out. I'm working on that. In addition to my advanced academic classes, I take a speed and strength class to work on strength and agility.
Some of the highlights of my baseball career are: I was on varsity as a sophomore at a large high school (1400+ students). I was the #2 on the staff for that team last year. For 2018, I am the ace of the staff for the Varsity team.  I am the ace on my staff for Diamonds (my club team) too, and I have won MVP at several Gameday tournaments.
