About Me

Last school year was a really tough time for me, and I say this because that was the year my mother got deported back to Liberia. She was my only source of support. When they took her away from me and my sisters everything went bad. I moved in with my grandpa and just living there wasn’t the best thing in the world but there were days when I didn’t eat, days where there wasn’t enough food for me and my little sisters so I just had to sacrifice and give them the food and starve. My aunts and uncles were always saying “if you need anything let me know” but when I did they were nowhere to be found. I realized that I had to become a man and do this for myself, this was after my sisters moved to Atlanta with my big brother. There was never nobody there for me and my sisters when we needed them. But I found hope, football gave me hope it showed me that people do care for you and that the guys you’re on the field with are your brothers so if I go to war best believe they’ll do the same for me. I just developed so much love and passion for the game it inspired to be a better person as a whole, I just want to make my mother proud because she isn’t here to see me shine and for my sisters they mean everything to me and I want to give them the world and if that means working hard every single day playing my heart out every game, then I’ll do it with no hesitation because what they went through, nobody should ever have to go through something like that and I promised them that I’ll do everything in my power to be great for them
