ABOUT MEMy name is Gabriela Carrillo-Quiñones, but most people call me Gaby. I’m in the class of 2023 at Highland Park Senior High in St. Paul, MN. Currently (2021), I play for the St. Paul Blackhawks soccer club. For 8 years prior, I played with St. Croix Soccer Academy. Some things about me are: * I have a 3.96 or 4.67 weighted GPA * I’m bilingual in English and Spanish, come from a bilingual home/family, and have been in the Spanish Immersion program since Kindergarten * I come from a family of lifelong soccer players * I enjoy traveling * I am a volunteer in my community and with my mother’s non-profit * I’ve played for my high school Varsity Soccer team since I was in 9th grade and have been named as one of the captains for my 11th and 12th grade years * 9th grade - all All Conference Honorable Mention * 10th grade - All Conference, top scorer and assists, named Best Offensive Player * I play High School Varsity Badminton * I am a tutor for my school district for high school AVID students *I’m looking for a school where I can be challenged academically, be involved in its community, and continue with my passion around soccer. I enjoy the team dynamics where we support each other on and off the field, and where I can receive positive coaching that challenges me to be my best.
