I started playing softball because my sister played. I always wanted to be just like her and looked up to her. After I started playing rec softball, I started to fall in love with the game. I loved that I could do more than just play. I could make an impact on people and let out my emotions while playing. I have always put other people before myself and I think that is why I am so good playing for a team sport and not a self sport. I started playing travel ball with the Blue Angels organization when I was 10 but because of where my birthday fell I played 12u. I have been on the Blue Angels ever since. I have played up a lot throughout my career and it had helped me become the player I am today. Also, playing on my high school team (Desoto Central High School), starting in seventh grade, has taught me an abundance of life lessons. The coaching staff and all of the older girls throughout the years have taught me so much. So many people in my life have impacted me and how I play. I am so thankful for everyone that has ever been in my life and impacted it in some way or another.
