My name is Jonathan, I was born in Africa and I came to the USA just 5 years ago. I’ve struggled with bullying and depression but with the help of my loved one i over came it. I was an A average student my freshman year but when heading into my sophomore year I stopped care about school. I would tell myself that I’ll just start welding and I’ll make good money so with those type of thoughts I was a failing student barely pass with just a D. I had to transfer, that’s when I picked up football. I only played so many game because I was late in the season. Now I understand just how far this game can take me and how far I can go. With many discussions with my coach’s and family, I am ready to bring my grades up and look ahead to what’s in front of me. Take a chance with me and I promise you I won’t fail you.
