About Me
My name is John Horner. I am a senior at South Sioux City HS in South Sioux City, Nebraska.
I am working very hard towards playing college baseball at the highest level. I am a great candidate because I am a student of the game. I work hard at improving all aspects of my game and reaching my full potential.
What makes me different from other student athletes is my work ethic, my baseball I.Q., and attention to detail. I will flat out-work anyone to accomplish what I need to on and off the field. I'm a leader on and off the field, I'm very good at making reads, understanding the situation and anticipating what needs to be done. My biggest assets are my mental strength, ability to execute and the intensity I bring to the field. I can take constructive criticism and realize that baseball is a process that takes constant work and effort.
