My name is Jessica Lewis and I am a goalkeeper in the graduating class of 2020. I currently live in Hooksett, NH and attend school at Manchester Central High School in Manchester, NH. Starting next season, I will have been the starting goalkeeper for my varsity team for three years and I am going to be a captain for the 2019 season as well. We have won back-to-back state championships for division 1 the past two years and have been listed in USA Today Sports Super 25 Expert Rankings for the 2017 and 2018 seasons. Other than soccer, I have been on the JV baseball team my freshman year, and I am currently on my varsity softball and basketball teams, for which I am also going to be the captain for both. I take a mix of both AP and honors courses in school and I am in the top 5% of my class. There is nothing like the sport of soccer, especially being a goalkeeper. Soccer is a team sport and I love working together with other teammates and building bonds and friendships to help the team prevail. The goalie does a lot in a game to help their team win, whether it's directing the defense or having moments where a big save can win the game. Moments like those are why it's worth playing the game and training hard to get there.
