About Me
My name is Kayla and I go to Baker High School in Baldwinsville, NY. I began playing little league when I was 5 years old and I instantly fell in love with the sport. I really enjoyed little league and I still and I am very happy that I do. In my free time, I usually spend time with family or I go a field and practice with my dad. He catches for me when I pitch, hits hard grounders and pop flies to me so I can work on my fielding. I also work on running and throwing because there is always room for improvement. I love giving myself challenges because it pushes me to become a better softball player. I have always been very motivated and work hard year round to improve my skills as a softball player. I workout 3-4 times per week to improve my strength and speed. In the summer, I also play ASA softball and currently play for the 16U Swarm. I previously played for the CNY Monsters for 3 seasons.
I believe that I'm a very coachable player and a team leader. My team is my family on and off the field. I feel that I always bring a positive attitude to my team and always encourage my teammates.
