About Me

I was born and raised in Bronx, NY. I am the middle of three children, an older brother Xavier and younger sister Zelda.

My parents are both elementary school educators who were also raised in NYC. My parents decided after I graduated from middle school we were going to move, I figured we would stay close to the Bronx but my parents moved us to Dutchess county.

I left a middle school of 500 students and began my high school career in Arlington High School which had a population of about 4000 students. Having participated in youth football and baseball from ages 6-13 I knew right away I wanted to play sports but more importantly be part of a team.

My first year was a culture shock and a humbling experience as the population and size of the school was overwhelming. Still having some bad habits from Middle school it took about 5 games until I was benched for below-average grades. It crushed me but propelled me to work hard to get my grades up and I was a starter by year two.

During this time I traveled with my parents to different football camps and combines throughout NY. I met many coaches from many different colleges and learned of coach expectations and what the coaches were looking for physically, mentally, and educationally. Going into year three I had worked hard and boosted my grades past a 3.0 GPA and was a permanent fixture on the team playing WR, DB and special teams

During my Junior season, an outbreak of Covid happened in one of my classes and I was quarantined for 10 days, making me lose tons of practice which eventually led to me having to sit a few games during our team's spectacular run to the city then state playoffs. As heartbroken as I was I knew I had to keep working hard to get back on the team. In order to keep my workouts going strong my dad build a small work area in our home with weights, a punching bag, a football sled for the backyard, and my mother's elliptical machine.

As our season ended all I wanted to do was keep practicing, keep working on my grades, and hit the weight room. Currently, all I can think about during my current workouts and weight room sessions with my coaches is my senior year and the excitement of not only graduating with my best grades yet but also taking part in senior year activities, playing football with a team I grew up on and potentially visiting college campuses. I hope that I can potentially be on the team of any coach who is currently reading
