I am going to be a junior this fall at Nyssa High school. I started varsity basketball as a freshman, and we didn’t too well. I’m also a three sport athlete: football, basketball, and track. I made first team all-league for wide receiver and defensive back. For basketball, I made second team all league, Defensive Player of the Year, Most inspirational player of the year, and a scholar athlete. Then, I made state for track for the mile. I ran it in 4 minutes ans 27 seconds. This junior year, I look forward to taking the basketball team to the state tournament.
I come from a home that doesn’t have very much graduates. My mother nor father went to high school because they cane from Mexico. My two sisters and my older brother are the only siblings in our family that have graduated out of seven siblings. I’ll be the first to graduate with honors and gold braides. So that’s why school is a #1 priority.
