About Me
My name is Brycen Johnson. I am currently (2016) a 6'0 180 lb sophomore at Roane County High School in Kingston, Tennessee.
My current athletic goal is to play baseball at a college that will improve my baseball knowledge and performance. This will help me reach towards my ultimate goal of playing professional ball some day.
I believe that I can succeed at the next level because I am intrinsically motivated and dedicated to achieving this goal. Playing college baseball has always been a part of my inner drive to becoming the best at everything I do.
I've grown up with a father who was a NAIA All American and TVAC Player of the Year at Tennessee Wesleyan College. So, he has always trained me mentally and physically to take on the game as a challenge and to use baseball as a path to get where you want to be in life.
As an upcoming junior, I have a skill set that allows coaches to use me in many different positions. I have next-level speed, arm strength, and versatility as well as a dependable bat. These abilities is what allowed me to be included in the starting lineup of my upper classman-heavy high school team this year. Offensively, I have superior eyesight and knowledge of the strike zone. I hit the ball with power and consistency to all fields regardless of the pitching that I face.
As one of the youngest sophomore players on our team this past year, I gained the confidence of the coaching staff which was shown by me being one of the team's starting outfielders and hit in the number 2 spot in the lineup.
