As the son of a determined mother and a military father I had to learn to adapt to many different situations. I moved quite a bit and therefore I became quite resilient. Since I was young I always enjoyed watching football, when I was 7, I began playing football and found this to be what I love. My coaches called me 6 mil, as in one day I would play football and earn this amount. I am glad they thought highly of me. I am definitely the type of athlete that can learn a new sport fairly quickly and I may not have it perfected but I can do it. I set my mind to do it and it happens. The reason I enjoy football is because that is what I am most passionate about. I go early to practice I stay late to practice, I even go on weekends with some friends or if one of the coaches is there. I like to help my team when on the field by making sure they know what we are doing or by just being supportive. As a freshman the coaches were able to learn more about the type of player that I am and even invited me to play spring ball and a game with varsity. Academically my grades are pretty good, I take advanced courses and with the support of my mom I am always trying something new. My mom likes to volunteer and we get to go help her also. I have been lucky to meet certain people in my life because of the things, events that my parents were invited to. My mom is devoted to ensure that I am at the top of my game and her support means alot. My mom has tried to instill in me the ability to make the right choice and I know without a doubt that playing college ball is the right choice for me. I know that sometimes we just can't do it on our own and with that I welcome all the support I get from my family, coaches, and community.
