I’m Amir Colbert-Holmes, a student at Clements High School and a dedicated student-athlete. Family means everything to me, and they’re a big reason I push myself every day. I work to be a positive influence on my little brother and my friends by showing them the importance of working hard, staying disciplined, and doing the right thing. I’m also an Honor Roll student because I believe success in the classroom is just as important as success on the field.
Outside of football, I enjoy making people laugh and bringing good energy to the people around me. Comedy, music, and spending time with my family and friends are things that keep me balanced. I love animals and have always been fascinated by dinosaurs. Music is something I listen to all day, every day—it helps keep me focused, motivated, and ready for whatever the day brings.
Football is something I truly love and take seriously. There’s no feeling like getting a sack or making a tackle for loss and helping my team shift the momentum of the game. I play with intensity and pride every snap, and I always try to bring energy to my teammates and the sideline.
On the field, I pride myself on being a sideline-to-sideline player with strong effort and determination. I have developed into a physical and disciplined linebacker who takes pride in stopping the run and improving every aspect of my game, especially pass coverage. My measurable stats include 5'11/197ibs, a 4.7 40-yard dash, 28inch vert, and bench:300, Sqaut:500. I have earned captain role on team. I approach the game with a high motor, strong football IQ, and a commitment to constant improvement. I’m strong for my age, and I’m constantly working to get faster, stronger, and more explosive. I’m dedicated to improving every day, whether that’s in the weight room, at practice, or studying the game. I want to play college football because I am passionate about the game and committed to reaching my full potential. My goal is to keep developing as a player and a person while helping my team succeed.
