I was fortunate to have grown up in a baseball-rich community, surrounded by positive role models who contributed to my work ethic. My father is a high school varsity baseball coach, so I literally grew up on the ball field. This allowed me to contribute to field maintenance, practices, and team morale for years before I was old enough to make the team. I am also lucky to know some local players who have made it to the Big Leagues, fueling my motivation. I am an out fielder and left-handed pitcher on my school’s varsity baseball team, while maintaining a 3.84 GPA in my Project Lead the Way Engineering program and honors courses. I am also on my school’s varsity golf team, and volunteer several times each week to assist with my younger sister’s travel softball team. I hustle on and off the field, and work to make improvements based on feedback I receive from my coaches and teachers. I am highly motivated to play baseball at the next level, and ultimately aspire to coach after college.
