About Me

My name is Ryan Salvosa, and I am a 6 foot linebacker at James Madison high school. I am a junior in the class of 2022 and was a varsity starter on the defensive line last season.  I earned 1st team all region. To be honest, going into the year my coaches had no idea I was going to be starting on Varsity.  They actually expected me to be a linebacker at the JV level, but my defensive coordinator asked me if I wanted to play on Friday nights. Of course I wanted to, so he threw me on the D line where I had to compete against five other guys to earn the starting job. Now for this season my coach wants me to move back to middle linebacker, and my goals for next season are to be a 1st team all region linebacker, and to help deliver my school its first state title. Coming into this year I have  a 3.51 GPA, but have yet to take the ACT or SAT.  Right now I'm at a point in my life where I don't know what I want to do in the work force, so I am looking for a school with a wide variety of degrees; and also has  a program that I can have an impact on.
