I was born in New Bern, NC and experience contact football for the first time at the age of 5. From that point on I have been working to perfect my skill set on the field. Positions I play are wide receiver and corner back. In 7th grade my family and I moved to Lawton, OK for my mom to continue her career in the military and to provide a better life for my brother and I. While in Oklahoma I played football in middle school and my freshman year of high school. I got to experience different types of competition than i was used to in North Carolina. My freshman year of high school I was on the freshman and varsity team. At the beginning of my sophomore year my mom got stationed in Virginia Beach, VA. Do to my lack luster efforts in the classroom while in Oklahoma my mom made me sit out my sophomore year from football to focus on my grades. At this time my grades are not where I would like them to be but my work ethic has completely changed considering having to sit out from football my sophomore year. Playing at the college level has always been a goal of mine with hopes of one day playing in the NFL. Through hard work and determination I plan on proving myself in the classroom as well as on the field.
