My Story
Since starting my athletic career at the age of six, I have grown to be a leader that favors collaboration, and open communication. I have led a number of teams over the years, and I currently have the privilege of serving as the captain for my club team at LA SURF G04 DPL team (out of San Marino). From this experience, I have learned how to be direct, responsible, and how to manage my own expectations.
Like other student-athletes, I challenge myself to maintain a balance between my academics and sports. I manage to keep a 3.8 GPA all while playing year-round soccer for both my high school and club teams.
I have had the honor of playing for Gabrielino High School’s varsity soccer program for four straight years. I am currently a senior, who has been awarded D5 ALL CIF player of the year in 2020 and 2019 High School freshman athlete of the year. Throughout my entire career I have been deemed versatile, alert and coachable. This can be seen in my ability to be placed in several positions on the field. At Gabrielino, I play center forward and attacking midfielder. On the other hand, I play center back at LA SURF and consistently move up to center forward.
I thrive in a competitive environment and I truly love how this sport has raised me to me proactive, instead of reactive. My goal is to play at a collegiate level for a D1 school, though I am grateful for any opportunity that would allow me to follow my passion throughout my college career. I hope you consider me a good fit for your school and program.
