What I absolutely love about being a goalkeeper is that I knew from the very beginning it was the position meant for me. I stepped into the role in eighth grade and have stayed there ever since, continuing through Varsity and into my senior year of high school. I thrive on the adrenaline and responsibility that come with guarding the net. Not only do I get to play the sport I love, but I also get to help my teammates love it too—communicating with my back line, organizing the field, and always being an option they can trust.

The pressure of the position motivates me to challenge myself and train every day. I hope to continue pursuing the sport I’m passionate about at the next level while also studying to become a nurse. Over the years, I’ve learned constantly—improving my distribution, communication, reaction time, and finding my voice as a leader. I’ve committed extra hours outside of team practices to train on my own and study the small details that make a big difference.

I’ve also worked hard to maintain my education, health, and discipline off the field so I can continue to embrace every opportunity that comes with being an athlete. It’s an honor to step onto the field each day and push myself to my limits. Even my mistakes have become tools that strengthen my mindset and resilience. My passion for soccer grows every time I lace up my cleats and put on my gloves.
