Nate Wall Arkansas High School - Texarkana, AR (903) 244-5785 . . . Coaches, If you are reading this, there are a few things you should know about me.... From the moment I took my first steps I've had a ball in my hand. I started playing organized sports at the age of 3 years old. Each of the following years I continued to participate in multiple sports leagues in which I consistently stood out amongst other athletes. Over the years I've played against, and alongside, a number of D1 athletes. I've enjoyed competing at such high-levels. Being surrounded by those who are like-minded in their love for the game, and who are always seeking to improve, has motivated me to become the best version of myself in whatever I seek to accomplish. Baseball: Baseball was my first love. I've played the sport since I could hold a bat. I was nominated as an all-star each year I played league ball; eventually I began playing on select/travel teams in order to match my capabilities with the competition. In high school I started both my freshman and sophomore seasons for the varsity baseball team at Trinity Christian School. During the summers I was a member of the Texarkana, Texas Legion Bulldogs where I also was a starter. This coming spring I will be an infielder for the Arkansas High Razorbacks. Football: I began playing football in the second grade, but football didn't ramp up until the 7th grade when I was a starting receiver and safety for my middle school team. My freshman season at Trinity I took snaps at quarterback, receiver, and safety for the varsity squad. My sophomore year I became the starting QB in addition to being named the starting safety. That year I helped lead our team to compete in the State Championship by contributing 3,000 total yards and 45 touchdowns on offense. On defense I notched three pick-six's and 67 total tackles. I transferred to Arkansas High School for my junior year. I earned the starting quarterback position during summer workouts. If it weren't for the risk of injury, I would have been named the starting safety as well. Though I didn't get the chance to play defense, I have enjoyed my time thus far as the QB. This past season I contributed 2,000 total yards on offense and 20 touchdowns. I was nominated as a 5A All-State athlete in addition to my recognition as an All-Conference player. Academics: I understand that being a college athlete requires more than elite performance on the field. That's why I strive to be successful in the classroom as well. Throughout high school I have maintained a 4.0 GPA while simultaneously taking college courses. I wish to study Kinesiology in college while playing football and baseball.
