Samuel Gonzalez is a Senior at Adolfo Camarillo High School. He has 14 years’ experience in the sport of baseball to include experience in the sports of wrestling, football, and Track n Field. During his time as a baseball player with Camarillo Pony Baseball Association (CPBA) he has played primarily the position of short stop but is well versed in other positions such as pitcher, catcher, second base, and the outfield.  Sammy has made the Camarillo Pony Baseball All-Star team every year proving he is fully capable of understanding the dynamics and challenges baseball exhibits. At ACHS his primary position is outfield. Sammy is a resident of Camarillo who has been actively involved in community events.  Such events include serving as a camera boy for the Camarillo Community Church, assisting in Ventura County beach clean-up events, volunteering to assist First Flight Pre-School in holiday events, and has played background roles for television.  Sammy’s passion for the sport of baseball displays his dedication as an athlete.
