About Me

Where I came from, I came from a very athletic family with an amazing background. My family were involved in a lot of sports such as football, basketball, baseball, and softball. For me I picked up on basketball and baseball in my early life. Unfortunately, I had to let go of baseball to have something even bigger. Basketball was the first sport I've ever played. According to my dad he said it was like love at first sight with a basketball. At that moment he knew God had something big planned for me as a basketball athlete. Ever since my dad's been training me, I've always dreamt to play college basketball and play professionally.

I first started playing organized basketball when I was 5 years old and a year later I picked up on AAU. Unfortunately during my 8th grade AAU season was my lowest. Dealing with injuries from time to time basically missing most of my summer AAU season. At that point I didn't think I would be the same as I was. But from the support of my Mom, Dad, and God, I never gave up. So I worked my way up to the top before my Freshmen High School Season came around. Once it came around, I was ready. Still dealing with some pain, I pushed through it and played my heart out every game of my Freshmen year. Even though my team didn't have the best record, that season was the start of my full potential. My Freshmen year, I put up 221 points in 21 games. After my Freshmen season, I decided to not play AAU for spring and summer to focus on my recovery from injuries. By summer, I was fully recovered and decided to play JV summer league. Through June, I was dominating teams in 28 games.

Then in 2022, a loving person of mine, my mom, lost her battle with breast cancer after 2 years. It tore me apart and I wanted to walk away from basketball for a while because of how painful it was. As my biggest cheerleader, I knew a future in basketball is what my mom wanted for me. After the summer, I decided to focus on my body once again, and be healthy as I can with 28 games coming up for my JV season. I did exactly that because I had no injuries throughout my Sophomore season. By the time league came around, I had the opportunity to play Varsity for my high school and averaged 7 PPG and 4 ASP. It was truly a blessing getting that opportunity to play alongside my older teammates.

During my Sophomore year, I averaged 9.1 PPG, 2.8 ASP, and 6 RPG for JV and 7 PPG and 4 ASP for Varsity. Once the season ended, I decided to play AAU with Port City Academy. With a lot to prove, again I dominated every team we faced by beating teams left and right. After my 1st AAU session, I averaged 13 PPG, 5 ASP, and 6 RPG. It was a great 1st session of AAU. The following month was Varsity summer league. Through June, my Varsity team did really good having a good summer league record. After June I had my 2nd session of AAU and a lot had changed. We faced a lot of better teams in AAU and playing at bigger tournaments. We had a great AAU record overall, and I averaged about 16 PPG, 7 ASP, and 9 RPG.

2nd session of AAU was able to get me a ranking on Prep Hoops placing as the 14th PG in Nor-Cal and 69th Overall Ranking in Nor-Cal. Now I am preparing to have a great Junior year and grow as an athlete with hopes to pursue my dream of playing college basketball.
