Hello my name is Nicholas Martinez and i attend South hills high school Strengths
At the end of the day i feel like im a special athelete. I feel like im the best hitter and if you dont belive me i will show you. Im a great hitter because i have super quick hands and i can hit for power or for contact. Also because i have my dad train me, my father he almost made it to the mlb out of high school but he didnt have good grades. At the end he went to go play pro ball in Germany. I will do anything to go to college or get drafted out of high school. Seeing the 2016 draft and watching Mickey Moniak get drafted #1 overall and hes only a high school player really pushing me because i see all the excitemnet he had when getting drafted and his whole family being there and just seeing that all the work you do put in really pays off. Hitting-i always hit hard line drives or I hit it hard on the ground, i have great vision and i see the ball really good. A lot of my coaches and dad say i have super quick hands. Im trying to make myself a better hitter by competeing with college pitchers and seeing high speeds so im ready for whatever. Also i won offensive player of the year for my high school team with a .471 batting average.
Work ethic- i work out really hard. I push myself in the weight room and on the field. I always like to be perfect and do what i do look nice and smooth. I always work out hard because i know theres kids working out just like me but its who ever wants it more and i do. I self motivate myself while working out and push myself.
Brain- i am a very smart student athelte. I pick up on things super super fast you only need to show me things 1 or 2 times and i understand it. Also im very smart in my classes i know i need to work hard in the classroom just as hard as i workout outside the classroom. Weaknesses
1. My arm- my arm is good but its the not best. I want my arm to be the best arm out there. Its the offseason so im lifting weights, doing the rice buckets and playing long toss to strength it. Baseball Career
