About Me
My name is Briana Atencio. I am a 2017-2018 middle infielder and catcher from Canon City High School in Canon City Colorado. I have lettered all four years of my high school career, and also lettered in track and field one year, all while maintaining a GPA of 3.0 or higher. I made Honorable Mention all Conference Freshman year as short stop and Second team all Conference Sophomore year for catching, and was awarded First Team All Conference Senior year for catching. Also I was awarded CHASSA/Max Preps all state Honorable Mention. I was named captain of my team for my senior season.
During my junior year our team was awarded our third regional qualifier patch for softball. This was my first year of track and I placed in Regionals and lettered. Also I made iron club in weightlifting by lifting one and one fourth times my body weight on bench for a max of 170lb.
I Have made honor roll all four years of high school and work hat every day. Also I lead The 2017 softball league in stolen bases for a total of 18 and was third in league for fielding percent at .988. I am very dedicated to my education and my sports.
