I started my softball venture when I was probably 3yrs old, watching my older sister play. I had a bat and ball in my hand than. I first started rec league at 7. I played infield (mostly 2nd Base) and a little out field when I went to all stars that first year. The next season I moved up 10U and decided I wanted to take a try at catcher. Another athlete's parents enjoyed watching, they referred me to my first travel ball team, Rage out of Pensacola, FL. I made the team and was one of the girls that was not part of the group that was playing, so I had to go out and prove myself to the coaches. Apparently I did, Coach Mark still tells everyone I was the best 3rd baseman he ever had. He still watched me play today just not as a 3rd basement but a pitcher. I decided my second season of 10U i wanted to start pitching. My mother took me faithfully every week to private lessons. I had 3 different private coaches up till high school. I began pitching that next season. I most have done well because ever since than I have been pitching no matter what team I am playing on. I played on Rage, West Florida Elite, Panhandle Extreme and my last team i played with Adiktiv Elite. My high school playing began on JV as a starting pitcher. I was a little upset but my mother told me to go play how I play and exceed the coaches expectations. I did this for about 3 games when coach came to me and said he wanted me on varsity. I am now a 4 year letterman with high hopes of playing college ball.
