About Me
My name is Benjamin "Ben" Roth. I am a Junior Linebacker for Seminole High School (Class 8A) in Sanford, FL.
I am a strong academic student and multi-sport athlete (Varsity Football and Lacrosse- Varsity Goalie). In 2015 I was a Varsity Captain, Team Defensive MVP, All-Conference 2nd Team Linebacker, All-Conference Academic Team, and the team’s leading tackler, with 118 tackles, 7 sacks, a Safety and a Touchdown.
I work very hard year-round to prepare myself, both physically and mentally, through Strength Specific (Strongman Inc.) and Speed/Agility/Position (Tom Shaw Performance) training.
Through it all, I am able to maintain high academic standards, while taking AP, Honors and Advanced course loads. I am a member of the National Honor Society and volunteer with Best Buddies.
I am a very hard working, positive, and team-driven player. I try to uplift those around me and at the same time I feed off of my teammates. My hope is to not just find a team to play on, but a family to grow with.
My goals are very simple. I want to play football at the highest level possible while, at the same time, obtaining the best possible education and college experience available. Maintaining that balance will be very important to me, as I look to play at the next level.
