I started playing golf when I was three years old. I started playing in tournaments with US kids golf when I was five years old up until I was 11 years old. The only reason I stopped playing in tournaments was that my great-grandfather/mentor passed away and I wasn’t sure what to do after that and i took a break for about a year and then started back playing. I started practicing with the high school team from the fifth to the 8th grade. Never playing in any matches, just practicing with the team. I then started my ninth grade year on the varsity team, and I was named all-area in Single A division. I was also State Runner-Up that year. My sophomore year I was named All-Area and All-State by the Georgia state golf coaches.
