It started when my dad was insecure about letting me play football, everyday I used to see my older brother and his friend play football and I’d be on the sideline watching and playing with the other kids at my age. Every time i went to the field and even during games, I used to play football on the sideline and tell my dad that I could play. We didn’t let me play until a year later. First few practice, I was out of shape and it was tuff because I was new to it. But, what made me the person who I am today is that, one practice we ran Oklahoma drill and I got ran over by a dude that was 3x the size as me. My dad thought I wouldn’t get up or thought I would quit, but that didn’t stop me from getting back up and saying that I want to go again with the same dude. Second time I had won and tackled him. Since that day, I knew I had heart and knew that this was my profession and that I would love this sport. I had to show my dad that I wanted to play this sport and I loved the sport. He sometimes gave me the option to quit playing football, but it was all a test, but either way, I said that I wanted to play this, I want to do this, this is what I want to do in my life. I live, love, learn for this sport. I shed blood, sweat, and tears, and I told him I’m committed to this sport.
