This experience wasn't just about football for me, but it sparked an incredible journey of resilience, dedication, and learning. It taught me that when life throws us a curveball, it doesn't mean we have to sit on the sidelines. We have to find a path to follow, even if it's different than what we had originally planned. 
Being a long snapper may not be the most important position to some, but for me, it was a gateway to being a part of the game I loved so much. It was a position that allowed me to be part of the team and contribute in my own unique way, without putting my health at risk.  My transfer from being a manager during my freshman year to becoming a varsity starter as a sophomore was far from easy.  I pushed myself to learn and get better. I spent hours in the backyard, practicing my aim with the homemade targets my dad built. I juggled my schoolwork, private snapping lessons, and devoted time for practicing on my own because I wanted to be the best long snapper I could be.  Now, every time I step onto that football field, I remember the long and arduous journey that brought me to where I am now. I recall all the sacrifices, hard work, and dedication it took to turn my limitation into a unique opportunity.  In a way, my childhood form of epilepsy, although daunting, turned out to be a blessing in disguise. It gave me a fresh perspective, opened up new opportunities, and most importantly, it made me realize that different doesn't always mean less. Sometimes, it can mean more than we could ever imagine.
