About Me
I am a sophomore and starting midfielder at Pine High School in Louisiana. I was honored to be chosen as captain by my teammates at the beginning of my sophomore season. As a freshman, I was the leading scorer on our varsity soccer team, leading the team to our first victory. As a member of a team, my values are simple: 1) dedication, If I am not dedicated to my team I will not give my all to the team. That isn't acceptable to me. 2) Punctuality, I live my life by the fifteen minute rule. If I'm not 15 minutes early, I consider myself late. (You can thank my dad for that). 3) Positive attitude, I am a member of the team. It is not about me. If I am not on the field, I will take my place on the sideline and support my team until I am needed. When I am needed I am ready.
Though I am very passionate about soccer, it is not my entire life, just a very large part. I plan to work toward a degree in Veterinary or environmental science.
I am also an active member of Beta and 4-H. Through 4-H I recently had the opportunity to participate in a camp focused on preserving coastal wetlands. I took a lot away from this experience and plan to carry this on into my future career.
