Hi, I’m Alexandra Peden. I‘m 14 years old and from Kingston, MA. I currently play for South Shore Chaos, located in East Bridgewater, MA. I would love to play in college, no matter the division, because I believe sports are an important part of life, both physically and mentally. Another reason I’d want to play in college is I have a genuine love for the sport. The long-lasting friendships and memories I’ve made from this sport alone are some of my favorite. Ever since I started at 10 years old, I can’t imagine life without it. Besides the softball aspect of a college, I’m also looking for a college that is full of opportunities academically. I would love to work in the medical field one day, whether thats the ER or a doctor’s office. Helping people any way I can is something I love. I understand that if I was lucky enough to be offered a spot on a D1 team, I could not pursue a nursing degree for those four years, but that is something I would put off and come back to however many years later. I take pride in my academics; a 4.7 GPA, three honors classes, and two accelerated. Alongside those, my high school offers a votech program, which I am in.
