About Me
It's the Michigan State Cup championship game, and a through ball was played through a channel. I sprinted to the ball and used a Matthews to get behind the center back. I dribbled to the top of the box and shot. The ball was a rocket going towards back post, as it hit side netting the sidelines erupted with cheering and screaming. My club, Downriver Rush, won their first state championship. This moment was years in the making. I started playing soccer at three years old and moved to competitive soccer at eight years old. Each year, I have been driven to compete at increasingly higher levels of competition. By middle school I achieved playing division one in the Michigan Premier Soccer League. I began playing at the NLC level in spring of 2023. I began playing at the ECNL-RL level spring 2024. I have devoted most of my life to the sport and worked for years on perfecting my skills. I have trained everyday, always striving to be better. I know I can improve my abilities so I continue to train to this day, and not just in soccer. I work to be a well rounded athlete, so that I can step up and fill the needs of my team. Speed helps me gain an advantage, so I also focus on track and field. An example of how track has helped me with soccer is that track taught me correct running form, which I use on the pitch. Track has increased my stamina which allows me to play a full game without breaks. I am highly competitive and want to be the best. In seventh grade, I earned the Renton Middle School records for the PACER Test at 125, the 200 meter record and 400 meter school record. I continue to push myself and set a varsity soccer high school record of 39 goals in a season my sophomore year of high school. When during the soccer season, some of my teammates have gotten injured, and this has allowed me to step up to fill other positions. I thrive in any position, and my teammates trust me entirely. However when my coach puts me at forward, it electrifies my entire team. My leadership serves to benefit the mental fortitude of my teammates and drives us to win. When I play forward, I consistently get my team to score when up at the nine position. I am tenacious in creating scoring opportunities. My coaches have labeled me a leader and an ultra athlete. There are goals I plan to achieve through with the help of soccer. I continuously work on improving my skills in order to earn a roster spot and play at the university level. I want to earn a doctorate degree to become a dentist or an oral surgeon. I feel playing soccer would create a pathway for me to achieve that goal while allowing me to fully enjoy the culture of the university. Another goal I would like to achieve is winning a national championship.
