I have consistently shown both individual hard work and team work during my Freshman year of high school. I have been able to sharpen my skills enough to be one of the two Freshmen on our Varsity team. I consistently seek feedback from my peers and coaches on how I may strengthen my skills further. I believe in hard work both on and off of the field. Both my athletic abilities and my academic strengths are equally important to my future success. While I have faced hardships in my personal life I have been able to not only maintain my athletic and academic abilities but excel in both areas. I have been forced to become my own advocate for my future and readily accept the responsibility of going after what I want in life. My experiences have left me with a heart of determination and desire for success. I hope to expand my skill set even further upon entering college. I hope to gain knowledge from those who have come before me while also creating my own path to success. Through all this I want to have fun playing the sport that gives me purpose.
