Finished Junior Season with being number 46 in the state of New Jersey in Interceptions
About Me
Growing up I was doubted based off my size, but one thing you could never doubt about me was my heart. From elementary to my sophomore year of high school my coaches always told me I wasn’t good enough in moments I wanted to quit football and focus on something else. After having talks and talks with my mom my whole mindset change and I workout everyday during the off-season. When my junior year came I knew it was my time, I had a huge growth spurt and I worked for that extra milestone which was my dream to touch the varsity field, My defensive coordinator didn’t start me at first because he didn’t think I could get the job done, I ended up earning my defensive back starting spot I was happy but I knew my spot wasn’t satisfied my mom always told me “It’s always somebody trying to take your spot so go 100% on everything you do. I will never forget the moment where I ended the game with a pick 6 for the win against a rival team my second game of starting. Through the season I had faced some thought obstacles in life my grandpa passed 2 days after my birthday and my closet friend gotten into a bad car accident that caused a lot of brain damage me and him had talks about playing with each other this season and things went left. Everything happens for a reason though and I knew I had to shine for the both of them this year to make them proud. I appreciate all the obstacles and sacrifices I went through to get to where I am today and extremely grateful because it made me a better man and it showed me through thick and thin everything will be alright. I always had dreams about moving my family out the hood and into a better place to give them a better chance at life .The job is far from finished though I still have 1 more year of highschool then college then the biggest milestone the NFL.
