After playing football for four years of high school, in my senior year, my school formed for the first time a boys lacrosse team. This was my first introduction to actually playing the sport. I grew up knowing of the sport since my cousins played lacrosse in New Jersey. Our athletic director talked me into going to the first meeting of the lacrosse team before my senior year. I decided to give it a chance. After summer camp our coach named me captain and with it came many responsibilities. I embraced the challenge of this role, working on accountability of not only myself but the team. Building a brotherhood that I feel will last long after I've left high school. I now have the privilege and honor to be playing with the Widener University Pride lacrosse team.
