I am a consistent setter with the ability to easily move the ball around the court.  I have played 2 years of Varsity Volleyball and 3 years of Club Volleyball with experience running 5-1 and 6-2. I am currently the Setter for the 17 Blue team at Triangle Volleyball Club. Additionally, I have played 3 years of Beach Volleyball where I was selected and served on the Leadership Committee. Additional honors include the 2020 and 2021 American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Phenom Nomination and 2020-21 NCHSAA 4a State Champions with Cardinal Gibbons High School.  Academically, I have  been an honor roll student for all High School semesters holding a GPA of 3.64/4.0 (unweighted) while taking academically challenging courses.  In 2020 I received the AAU Academic All-American Award.  In 2021, I was inducted into the Cardinal Gibbons High School National Honor Society.

I am proud to say I'm a very well-rounded athlete. I have worked very hard to ensure I am prepared to play at the next level.  During the shut-down for Covid, I increased my focus on the parts of volleyball that could be worked on off the court while court access was limited.  I worked with Salima Rockwell and Karrie Poppinga of Mind Growth Lab on the mental performance aspect of my volleyball game.  In addition, I refocused my  strength training to include weight lifting , agility and endurance with Explode Performance and Redline Athletics.  Sports Nutrition has also been a focus of mine.  I have been able to fine tune my fueling with a Sports Dietician that works exclusively with High School and Collegiate Athletes.

One of my many attributes that I feel would be advantageous to your school is my character.  I pride myself on being a contributor to every community I am a part of through acts of kindness.  For example, during the Covid shutdown I started the Pittsboro Stop Sign Karma Cabinet providing essential needs for anyone in the community.  Other examples include, Intentionally Positive (a business that was started with my older sister), volunteering coaching 12's practices for two years, helping with the 11-14's volleyball tryouts and volunteering as a farm hand on a farm that teaches Goat Yoga.
