About Me
Hello! My name is Peyton Werntz. I live in Coshocton, Ohio, with my mom, dad, and little brother. I am a junior at River View High School in Warsaw, Ohio. I currently play for Team Ohio Scarlet. This is my first year playing for them, and our fall/ winter season was a Great Start! I am a right-handed pitcher, first/third baseman, but can play anywhere the team needs me. I am a 'power hitter' from the right side, and can hit clutch RBIs. I like to switch positions around at high school open fields because I think it is important to be a well- rounded player. During high school season, you can catch me at second- base or the outfield as well. I'm huge on playing wherever my team needs me at that moment. On the other hand, I am very focused and dedicated to pitching. The movement on my ball is what sets me apart from other pitchers and the way I change speeds definitely helps. I LOVE MY CHANGE UP! I have a fastball, screwball, curveball, drop ball, drop-curve, riseball, and a few different changeups I like to mess around with.
