I was born in Haiti and endured the loss of my biological parents when I was 4. I grew up in the poorest country in the Western Hemisphere. My mom is a critical care NP and she came to Haiti on many visits to work at a medical clinic. In 2008 she brought my soon to be sister and while mom was working at the clinic , she hung out with my brother and I. My mom will tell you she knew instantly that my brother and I  would some day be a part of the family.  I was adopted at the age of 6 in January of 2010.   I started school and the transition into my new family.   It has been quite the journey, learning to not only adapt but to thrive academically,, spiritually and socially. Football has become a passion. I love the game, being a part of a team, engaging in leadership and mentoring younger players.  I have also been successful in Football and Soccer earning a starting position at line backer and wide receiver.  I also earned the Ben Nimo memorial award for character and leadership on and off the field.  I have a true passion for football and a strong drive to succeed on and off the field.  I feel I would contribute a positive attitude and leadership abilities to the school I choose to attend and excel given the right opportunities .
